One battery, one mount
Four capacities, one charger.
LEIYU 21 V tools share one battery: four capacities, 2.0, 4.0, 6.0 and 8.0 Ah, one mount and one charger. The mount is the Dayi A3 type common in China, so dealers can source batteries and chargers easily.
Impact wrenches, drills, rotary hammers, grinders, chainsaws, pruning shears and rivet guns all run on it. Wrenches and hammers usually come with 6.0 Ah, the XLY-2000 with 8.0 Ah, and drills and pruning shears with 2.0 or 4.0 Ah. The compact XLY-16-10 drill is the exception and uses its own 16.8 V battery.

The XLY-16-10 compact drill uses its own 16.8 V battery, which does not fit the 21 V tools. The smaller, lighter body suits work inside cabinets and equipment.

Warranty terms
One year each for batteries and chargers.
Batteries and chargers are covered for 1 year. Batteries with water damage, drop damage or a replaced housing, and chargers with water damage or a cut or broken cable, are not covered. If something goes wrong, send us photos or video first and we handle it on those terms once assessed.

What battery mount do the tools use?
The mount is the Dayi A3 type common in China. All 28 LEIYU 21 V tools share this one battery, and all four capacities, 2.0, 4.0, 6.0 and 8.0 Ah, use this mount. The XLY-16-10 uses its own 16.8 V battery and is the exception.
Can batteries of different capacities be used interchangeably?
Yes. 2.0, 4.0, 6.0 and 8.0 Ah batteries fit all 21 V tools. XLY-16-10 uses a dedicated 16.8 V battery.
Can batteries and chargers be ordered separately?
You can enquire. State the capacity and quantity, and availability will be confirmed with the quotation.
How long is the battery warranty?
One year, and one year for the charger too. Batteries with water damage, drop damage or a replaced housing are not covered; recharge packs that sit unused for a long time.
How long does charging take?
It depends on the battery capacity; see the charger rating plate. Batteries leave the factory only partly charged, so charge them fully before first use, at 0 to 40 °C.
