Production and inspection
Before dispatch a LEIYU tool goes through four steps: assembly, power check, kitting and packing. Batteries are configured to your order.
Assembled, powered up, then boxed
Every tool has been run under power.
After the parts are assembled into a complete tool at the assembly station, every unit is connected to a battery and run: the motor is listened to, speed and forward/reverse are checked, and the trigger and gears are tried. A tool with a problem stays at the station and does not move on to the next step.
Tools that pass the power check are kitted to the order with batteries, a charger and accessories: two batteries and one charger for a single tool, two or three batteries for a kit according to its list. The manual and warranty card go in the case, the outer carton is marked, and nothing leaves until the packing list matches the goods.
LEIYU is a Fengbao sub-brand made at the Fengbao factory in Qidong. Below are the four steps: assembly, power check, kitting and packing.

LEIYU is a sub-brand of Fengbao; its tools are assembled, inspected and packed in the Fengbao factory in Qidong, Nantong, Jiangsu.

Four checks
From parts arriving at the factory to the carton being sealed, there are four checks.
- Incoming
- Incoming checkMotors, cells, switches, chucks and housings are checked against the model specification; only parts that pass go to the line.
- Assembly
- Assembly checkGearbox action, switch travel, chuck or anvil movement, and the seating of wires and terminals are checked.
- Finished tool
- Power testThe motor is run, speed and torque settings are switched through, forward and reverse are tried; on models with a work light and charge indicator, these are checked too.
- Before packing
- Kit checkBattery and charger are paired with the tool, kit contents are counted, and labels, barcodes and carton markings are checked against the order.

Check us before and after you order
These four checks can be written into the order and carried out as agreed.
- Pre-shipment photosPhotos of finished tools, labels, kit contents and sealed cartons are sent to you, and goods ship after you approve.
- Pre-production samplesSamples are made with the labels and packaging you approved, and production starts after you have checked them.
- Third-party inspectionOn an agreed date the finished goods and packing area are open to your inspection company.
- Factory visitYou are welcome to see the line at the Fengbao factory in Qidong, Jiangsu; please arrange the date in advance.

What the factory does, and what can be changed to your requirements.
Tool assembly
Motors, gearboxes, housings, switches and electronics are fitted in sequence on lines set up by product family. The same model is assembled in the same order in every batch and power-tested once assembled.
Batteries and chargers
21 V batteries come in four capacities, 2.0, 4.0, 6.0 and 8.0 Ah, with the Dayi A3-type battery mount common in China; each tool comes with two batteries and one charger. The charger works on 110-220 V; the plug is confirmed for the destination country and written into the specification sheet before ordering.
Combo kits
Two to four tools are packed in one tool case with batteries, a charger and accessories. What goes into each kit is agreed with you before ordering and written into the list.
Printing and labelling
For private label, the logo on the tool, the rating plate, the manual, the retail box artwork and the carton markings are all prepared from your artwork, and work starts only after you approve them.
Packaging
Tool case, colour box or carton, chosen per order. Each model has a fixed number of units per carton, and cartons are printed with the model and the LEIYU logo. Standard models from one carton; mixed models are available for the first order.
Capacity and lead time
Capacity in 2026 is over 400,000 tools. Stocked items ship within 7 days; orders that need production take 5 to 12 days after the deposit arrives; private-label orders take about 35 days of production after the sample is approved and the specification is final. The exact lead time is stated in the quotation.
How an order runs
From the model list you send to the goods being loaded in Qidong.

Models and quantities confirmed
You send the model list, configuration and quantity per model; we confirm which items are in stock, which need production, and how each one is packed.
- 02
Specification sheet signed off
Battery capacity, charger plug, accessories, labels and manual language (Russian, Kazakh) are written into the specification sheet; production is scheduled only after you approve it, and nothing can be changed once the goods are built.
- 03
Samples (if needed)
New customers and private-label orders start with samples, so you can check both the tool and the packaging. Samples are charged a sample fee and courier fee and sent once paid; after a formal order, the sample fee can be credited against the order as agreed.

Production scheduled
Stocked items ship within 7 days; orders that need production are scheduled once the deposit arrives, and when the components are ready the tools are assembled by product family, taking 5 to 12 days.
- 05
Inspection and packing
Every tool is power-tested, matched with batteries and a charger, and packed and marked to the approved list. The balance is paid before the goods leave the warehouse, and the goods leave once the money has arrived.
- 06
Loading and shipment
Goods are loaded in Qidong, with the packing list, invoice and the export documents your forwarder and customs broker need prepared together. On request, photos of the finished tools, labels and sealed cartons are sent to you before shipment.

Battery configuration
Each tool comes with two batteries and one charger as standard, with capacity based on the selected configuration. Batteries from 2.0 to 8.0 Ah fit all 21 V tools; XLY-16-10 uses a dedicated 16.8 V battery.

Two document types, checked per model
UN38.3 and MSDS documents are checked per model and sent with the quotation; Russian and Kazakh manuals and labels can be prepared with the order; small orders usually ship DDP, so you do not have to clear customs yourself.

Each product has its own applicable certifications; they are checked per model and sent with the quotation. Tools, batteries and chargers are different products, so their documents may be issued separately; packing lists, invoices and export documents are prepared per order.
