LEIYU is a 21 V cordless tool brand under Fengbao: made at the Fengbao factory in Qidong, sold by more than 400 stores in China, and supplied by the carton to the five countries of Central Asia.
- LEIYU is a sub-brand of Fengbao that combines trade and manufacturing: the Fengbao factory in Qidong, Jiangsu, manufactures, and Qingdao Chenrui Mingwo Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. runs LEIYU's export business. The factory opened in 2018, covers 14,000 m², has more than 160 workers and makes more than 400,000 tools a year in 2026.

Part of Fengbao, trade and manufacturing as one
LEIYU is Fengbao's sub-brand for 21 V cordless tools, supplying importers, wholesalers and hardware shops in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. Trade and manufacturing work as one: the Fengbao factory builds the tools, which are assembled, power-checked and packed in Qidong, Jiangsu; Qingdao Chenrui Mingwo Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. runs LEIYU's export business and handles quotations, product selection and documents.
29 models in 7 categories: four impact wrenches from 380 to 2000 N·m, drills, rotary hammers, cutting and grinding, garden and sheet-metal tools, plus four kits. Apart from the XLY-16-10, all 28 share one 21 V battery.

From product development to spare parts
How an order moves from enquiry through production to spare parts, and who does what at each step.

Product development
New models start from the 21 V brushless platform already in production rather than from scratch. Before work begins, performance, body, switch layout and battery fit are reviewed; the prototype then goes to the sales team and stores in China for trials, and it only goes on sale once their feedback has been worked in. That is how the second generation went through two prototypes before it was finalised.

Manufacturing and assembly
The tools are assembled at the Fengbao factory in Qidong, Jiangsu, on lines set up by product family. Motors, gearboxes, housings, switches and electronics are fitted step by step in a fixed sequence; the same model is assembled in the same order in every batch.

Quality control
Assembled tools are power-tested before packing: the motor is run, speed and torque settings are switched through one by one, forward and reverse are tried, the chuck or anvil is checked, and the battery and charger are confirmed to pair with the tool. A tool with a problem stays at the station and does not move on to the next step.

Packaging and export
Tools are packed in tool cases, colour boxes or cartons as ordered. Labels, barcodes and carton markings are prepared as agreed; the packing list, invoice and the export documents your forwarder and customs broker need are ready with the goods. Goods are loaded in Qidong and go overland via Khorgos to the five countries of Central Asia.

Distribution cooperation
We care more about long-term restocking than about one-off orders. Every customer has a fixed contact person from enquiry to after-sales; during production we tell you where the order stands, and we are straight with you about whether the lead time will be met.

Products and spare parts
LEIYU supplies parts by model, so a broken tool can be repaired instead of replaced. Batteries, chargers, switches, chucks and guards can all be ordered separately. For every 3 tool sets we include one wear part free of charge, a switch or a housing, the customer's choice; confirmed faulty parts are replaced with the next shipment.
Brand idea
Heng: choose one thing and keep doing it well
Heng, the character on the badge, means lasting and constant. It is the name of Hexagram 32 in the Book of Changes (I Ching): thunder above, wind below. The Image commentary says: "Thunder and wind: constancy. A person of integrity stands firm in their direction." Thunder and wind always come together, a pattern in nature that does not change; the lesson is to choose a direction and keep to it.
From Heng, LEIYU takes the idea of working for the long term: choose one thing, cordless tools, and keep doing it well. Tools should stand up to repeated use, and a partnership should stand up to one restock after another. In day-to-day work, that means the four commitments below.

- Long-term supplySpare parts are supplied for each model, batteries and chargers carry a 1-year warranty, and one contact person follows you from the first quote to after-sales.
Milestones
One battery, eight years, from Nantong to Central Asia
LEIYU was not called LEIYU at first. In 2018, in Nantong, Jiangsu, a power tool factory called Yigu started work.
Two years later, Yigu was renamed and upgraded to LEIYU and launched its first generation: a blue body with red accents, with drills, impact wrenches, rotary hammers, angle grinders and circular saws all taking the same 21 V battery. For a store, that battery is a practical thing: a customer who bought a wrench can come back for a drill without buying another battery and charger. In November 2020 more than 90 stores were selling LEIYU; today more than 400 stores do, most of them hardware stores, auto parts shops and farm machinery repair shops.
But LEIYU was in no hurry to go abroad. In 2022 Yigu merged with Fengbao, Nantong Fengbao Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. was set up and the plant became the Fengbao factory, today 14,000 m² with more than 160 workers. Only in 2024, when output reached 300,000 tools a year, did the sales team say: it is time for LEIYU to go beyond China.
So the second generation went back to the drawing board first. The first prototype changed the body; the sales team tried it and said it was not enough of an improvement. The second changed the inside: a larger brushless motor, with new magnets, bearings, control board, cells and gears. The company also set a rule: motor ratings are never overstated, and what the rating plate says is what you get.
After its launch, the second generation spent another full year on sale in China. Only in 2026, after looking at feedback from stores and users, did LEIYU decide to export to Central Asia, handled by Qingdao Chenrui Mingwo Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. Every model shipped to Central Asia has already been sold in stores in China.

Nantong Yigu Power Tool Factory opens, Yigu brand founded
Nantong Yigu Power Tool Factory opens in Nantong, Jiangsu, and the Yigu brand is founded with it. Yigu cordless tools have blue bodies: drills, impact wrenches, rotary hammers, angle grinders, circular saws, reciprocating saws, metal shears and blowers.

Yigu becomes LEIYU: the first generation goes on sale
Yigu is renamed and upgraded to LEIYU, and the first generation of LEIYU cordless tools comes out. The bodies are blue with red accents; the drill, impact wrench, rotary hammer, angle grinder and circular saw share one 21 V battery, called 21 V POWER SHARE, in 2.0, 4.0 and 6.0 Ah. The first generation already has brushless models: the drill on the poster reads BL MOTOR and the impact wrench carries a BRUSHLESS badge. The slogan is "LEIYU lithium: built to last, always like new".

More than 90 stores in China
In the first year of the first generation, more than 90 dealer stores in China were selling LEIYU. They sold a full set of tools sharing one 21 V battery, so a customer adding a second tool did not need another battery and charger.

Merger with Fengbao; the plant becomes the Fengbao factory
Yigu merges with Fengbao, Nantong Fengbao Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. is set up, and Nantong Yigu Power Tool Factory becomes the Fengbao factory. From then on, all LEIYU tools are assembled, power-checked and packed at the Fengbao factory. The Fengbao brand also starts exporting at this time.

300,000 tools a year; preparing to export
The factory reaches 300,000 tools a year, and the first generation of LEIYU has been on sale for four years. In September the sales team says one thing: it is time for LEIYU to go beyond China. But the company does not take the first generation abroad; at the same time it sets the plan for the second generation, and the design team starts on the new tools.

The first test prototype changed the body structure; after trying it, the sales team said it was not enough of an improvement. So the second changed the inside: a larger brushless motor, with the magnets, bearings, control board, cells and gears upgraded too. The company also set a rule: motor ratings are never overstated.

Second generation of LEIYU goes on sale
After testing on the two prototypes, the second generation of LEIYU goes on sale with the larger brushless motor. The colours change from the first generation’s blue and red to today’s green and yellow; the battery platform is still 21 V, now in four sizes: 2.0, 4.0, 6.0 and 8.0 Ah.

The decision to export to Central Asia
The second generation spends a full year on sale in China: dealers sell it and users work with it. Based on feedback from stores and users, the company decides to export to Central Asia. The export range is the same models that stores in China sell; goods are loaded in Qidong and go overland via Khorgos to the five countries of Central Asia.

Qingdao Chenrui Mingwo Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. founded
The company handles LEIYU exports to Central Asia: quotations, model and kit selection, contracts, documents, shipping and after-sales. One contact person follows your order from enquiry to after-sales. The tools are still assembled and power-tested at the Fengbao factory.

At trade fairs with Fengbao
LEIYU and Fengbao exhibited together at China International Expo 2026 (Shanghai, hall 1.2, booth T1-101) and at the 10th China Yiwu International Hardware and Electrical Appliances Expo, 2026, and have also taken part together in the Thailand ASEAN Tools Expo. The Fengbao factory covers 14,000 m², has more than 160 workers and makes over 400,000 tools a year; more than 400 stores in China sell LEIYU. The first-generation poster featured a drill, impact wrench, rotary hammer, angle grinder and circular saw. By the time exports began in 2026, the range covered 7 categories, including garden tools, sheet metal tools and combo kits; impact wrenches in four sizes, 380, 600, 1000 and 2000 N·m; batteries up to 8.0 Ah; and brushless motors in every model.
