In 2024, the Fengbao factory reached 300,000 tools a year. Two years had passed since Yigu and Fengbao merged, and the first generation of LEIYU had been on sale for four years.
Output went up, but the routine did not change: every tool is assembled on the line in Qidong, power-tested, fitted out with batteries, packed and shipped from the warehouse.
This is how a tool is built on the line: the motor, gearbox, housing, switch and electronics go on step by step in a fixed sequence, and the same model follows the same order in every batch. Once assembled, it is powered up, the speed and torque settings are switched through one by one, forward and reverse are tried, and the chuck or anvil, work light and fuel gauge are checked together; only after this step is it matched with batteries and put in a carton.
