In 2022 Yigu merged with Fengbao, Nantong Fengbao Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. was set up, Nantong Yigu Power Tool Factory became the Fengbao factory, and LEIYU became a sub-brand of Fengbao.
The name changed; the place where the tools are built did not: LEIYU tools are assembled, power-tested and packed at the Fengbao factory. The Fengbao brand also started exporting at this point.
The sign "Nantong Fengbao Electronics Technology Co., Ltd." went up on the factory gate.
