- Car and SUV tyre shops: mainly XLY-600, with XLY-380 for motorcycles and small bolts.
- Truck and bus tyre shops: XLY-2000, supplied with two 8.0 Ah batteries and a case.
- Light trucks, farm machines and general repair: XLY-1000, supplied with two 6.0 Ah batteries.
- The model number is the maximum torque on the nameplate; the four wrenches share batteries with every other LEIYU 21 V tool in the shop.
- Standard models start from one carton, and mixed models are available for the first order.
What should a car and SUV tyre shop stock?
For changing car and SUV tyres, the most used model is XLY-600: 600 N·m maximum torque, with a choice of two 4.0 Ah or two 6.0 Ah batteries. For motorcycles and small bolts on cars, XLY-380 is lighter to handle, also with 4.0 Ah or 6.0 Ah batteries.
What should a truck and bus tyre shop stock?
For wheel nuts on heavy trucks and buses and large bolts on construction machinery, use XLY-2000: the most powerful LEIYU wrench, with 2000 N·m maximum torque, three speeds on the nameplate, two 8.0 Ah batteries and a case.
For light trucks, farm machines and steel structures, use XLY-1000: 1000 N·m maximum torque, with two 6.0 Ah batteries.
How do the four wrenches compare?
| Model | Maximum torque | Typical use | Battery configuration | Bare-tool weight | Units per carton |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| XLY-380 | 380 N·m | Motorcycles and passenger cars | 2 × 4.0 Ah or 2 × 6.0 Ah | 1.109 kg | 6 units/carton |
| XLY-600 | 600 N·m | Car and SUV tyre changes | 2 × 4.0 Ah or 2 × 6.0 Ah | 1.296 kg | 6 units/carton |
| XLY-1000 | 1000 N·m | Light trucks, agricultural machinery and structural steel | 2 × 6.0 Ah | 1.883 kg | 6 units/carton |
| XLY-2000 | 2000 N·m | Heavy trucks and construction machinery | 2 × 8.0 Ah | 3.503 kg | 5 units/carton |
Model numbers indicate the maximum torque stated on the nameplate; the bolts a tool can actually loosen also depend on corrosion, the socket and battery charge.
How to pair batteries?
A tyre shop works on wheels all day, so battery capacity decides how long one charge lasts. XLY-380 and XLY-600 take 4.0 Ah or 6.0 Ah; a shop that works every day should start at 6.0 Ah and keep a spare battery to swap. XLY-1000 comes with 6.0 Ah and XLY-2000 with 8.0 Ah.
The batteries of the four wrenches fit every LEIYU 21 V tool, so when the shop adds a drill or a grinder later, the batteries can be swapped between them.
What to watch when changing tyres?
Loosening often takes more torque than tightening: rust, thread-locker and nuts that have not been undone for a long time are all harder to remove. If you are not sure which model fits, send us the vehicle type and the bolt size.
When fitting a wheel, run the nuts on with the impact wrench, then tighten them to the torque in the vehicle manual with a torque wrench, so they are not over-tightened.
What other tools go with them?
If the shop also drills and cuts, consider a kit: XLY-SET-2 is the XLY-1000 wrench plus the XLY-100 grinder, and XLY-SET-4-600 and XLY-SET-4-1000 add a drill and a rotary hammer. The tools share 6.0 Ah batteries and one charger, all in one case.
