Choosing capacity
- 2.0 Ah: the lightest option, suitable for light, intermittent work with drills, pruning shears and similar tools.
- 4.0 Ah: a versatile option commonly used with drills, rivet guns, metal shears and 380 and 600 impact wrenches.
- 6.0 Ah: a primary choice for impact wrenches, angle grinders, rotary hammers and circular saws.
- 8.0 Ah: for high torque and extended work; standard with XLY-2000.
Winter use
Central Asian winters are cold, and usable lithium battery capacity falls significantly at low temperatures. Recommendations:
- Keep batteries indoors or in an insulated container when not in use, and fit them to the tool when needed.
- Let batteries brought indoors warm to room temperature before charging.
- Keep an extra battery available for rotation during winter work.
Charging and storage
- Charge indoors in a ventilated area at 0 to 40 °C, away from flammable materials.
- Use a LEIYU 21 V charger.
- Top up batteries you are not using: keep them at about half charge and recharge every 2 to 3 months, and they will last longer.
- Recharge promptly when only one indicator bar remains to avoid prolonged over-discharge.
When to stop using a battery
Stop using batteries with cracked housings, swelling, deformation, abnormal heat or odours during charging. Recycle them according to local rules and do not dismantle them.
Batteries have a 1-year warranty; packs with water damage, drop damage or a replaced housing are not covered.
