After two test prototypes, the second generation of LEIYU went on sale. The brushless motor is larger, and the magnets, bearings, control board, cells and gears are all new. Motor ratings are not overstated: what the rating plate says is what you get.
The body changed too. The first generation was blue with red accents; the second generation is the green and yellow you see now. The battery platform stayed the same, still 21 V, with one more capacity, 8.0 Ah, so there are now four: 2.0, 4.0, 6.0 and 8.0 Ah.
